SourBro Baked Goods had its humble beginning in the fall of 2020. Parenting a three year old and newborn during lockdown, my wife and I found solace in “date nights” at home as I began making pizza after getting a baking steel for my home oven. Pizza led me down a rabbit hole of baking, in which I discovered my love of sourdough bread. In June of 2021, my sourdough starter (Bev) was born. Things started off slow as with any sourdough baker. Lots of flat loaves, puddles of goopy dough and other bread disasters. After much trial and error and copious hours of YouTube videos and baking books, a breakthrough occurred. I gifted bread to friends and family and they couldn’t get enough of it. Some even mentioned that I should sell it. With a lot of help from my wife Erin, SourBro Baked Goods was born.
