Singer Bangladesh Ltd., a subsidiary of the Dutch holding company Singer Bhold B.V. with a 57% stake, operates under the Turkish appliance giant Arçelik A.Ş., which is part of Koç Holding and listed on the Fortune Global 500. The company has two primary facilities: the Singer Refrigerator Plant (SRP) and the Singer Manufacturing Complex (SMC). It is also preparing to open a new SRP factory in Araihazar, Narayanganj District. Employing over 3,500 people, Singer Bangladesh operates more than 470 retail shops and works with over 1,000 dealers, establishing a strong market presence.

The present CEO & MD Mr. Rabiul Islam has been globally consulting as a cybersecurity specialist since 2008. He never thought of starting his career journey in the cybersecurity field but having an immense passion for cybersecurity, he quickly became a skilled cybersecurity professional. Finally, in 2014, he and Ms. Rehena Parveen established TechForing as a private limited company in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Since then, we have set up regional offices in Istanbul- Turkey, Michigan- USA and London- UK. In 2020, more like-minded partners, i.e. Mr. Phillip R Moran and Mr. Mahbub Choudhury, joined the board of directors. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard information system assets by identifying potential security problems.

• Performed cyber security services like penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, malware analysis, crime investigation, forensic investigation, source code auditing, incident response, etc.

• Protected the system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.

• Recognize problems by identifying abnormalities and reporting violations.

• Contributed to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
