Greetings!!!
Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering of Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering & Technology (GKCIET), West Bengal, India. Previously, I worked as a Senior Manager (Bridge Design) at Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, India, and gained valuable experience in Bridge Design. Before that, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher (Principal Project Scientist) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India, wherein I was advised by Prof. Dr. Vasant Matsagar.
I obtained my doctorate (Ph.D.) degree from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, under the guidance of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Steffen Marburg. Prior to my doctoral studies, I served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, India, and JIS College of Engineering, West Bengal, India. My Ph.D. thesis is titled “Dynamic Analysis of Composite Plates in Thermal Environments: Numerical and Experimental Studies”.
As an alumnus of Jadavpur University, I completed my Masters degree in Structural Engineering, and earned the Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Hooghly Engineering and Technology College under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT, previously WBUT).
My research interests include computational mechanics, finite element methods, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composite structures, bridge engineering, numerical and experimental structural dynamics, stochastic methods, inverse methods, and scientific machine learning.
Here is my recent version of CV.
Apart from research, I enjoy travelling, photography, and exploring festivals.
