"Data Science & Mathematics"

Hey there!!! this is Sourav Mandal, a mathematician and a data science enthusiast. I am a teacher of computer science and mathematics as well. My education is specialized in Mathematics, and I love to use my experience and logic building abilities to solve real life problems.

As I've mentioned I love to solve real life problems using mathematics, you will agree with me that, you can find any practical used cases to use higher mathematics to solve problems. So, from there my interest in data science develops. It's like a year ago, I just randomly searched "practical use of higher-level Mathematics", the first hit I get was of Data Science and Analytics, so I get curious and started digging in it. The more I dug, more interest got developed in me for this topic.

I found out that, whatever concepts and logics were used in my mathematics journey, all of this has an explainable application in Machine Learning and data science. So gradually I moved in data Science domain and now my main goal is to be a part of this data industry, as a Data Scientist or analyst where I can use my knowledge experience in a proper use.

In this journey I've learnt many new things like Python, R, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Analytics using Business analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau, Databases like SQL and Mongo DB, Clouds like AWS, Machine Learning Operations and may more. Still, I find Data Science as an ocean and there is a lot of topics, pending for me to learn and I'm on my way to it.

I have also developed many projects which you can see in the Project Page tab above. Also, you can find info about my educational details, certificates, experiences in the About tab above. I'll be writing blogs as well which you can find in the Blogs tab above. Currently I am learning Deep Learning, specifically Computer Vision and enjoying it a lot.
