"The unreasonable effectiveness of mathematics in describing the universe - the fact that it works at all is sufficient enough for me" - Eugene Wigner

I am currently working as a Doctoral Scholar in the Laboratory of Natural Information Processing, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar, under Prof. Manish K. Gupta. I am working on efficient DNA codes over finite commutative and non-commutative, non-unital rings; and security in DNA storage. In parallel, I am engaged in elliptic curve cryptography projects. I am also interested in Quantum codes, Commutative Algebra, and Combinatorics.

Before joining the Research Program at DA-IICT, I joined the Department of Mathematics, Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya (under the University of North Bengal) as a Guest Faculty for August 2016 - July 2017.

Previously, I studied at the Department of Mathematics, Visva- Bharati, Santiniketan, where I completed my Bachelor's degree (2013) and Master's degree (2015) in Pure Mathematics.

I was a visiting scholar at the DNA Nanodevices Unit, Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology(IZI), Leipzig, Germany, from Dec 09, 2019, to Dec 23, 2019, to carry out the work related to the awarded DST-DAAD project "VecDNAStor."

My CV is available here (last updated Dec 2023).
