Before joining IIT Guwahati, I was a Pure Hindustani classical vocal student in the Kotali Gharana under the tutelage of Vidushi Ruchira Panda from 2015 to 2022.  During this time, I attended and sometimes performed at different music conferences in Kolkata.

I learned around 20 Raagas in these 7 years. I recorded most of those bandishes at the link in 2021.
