SoundDesk ("SoundDesk", "we", "us", or "our") is an Android audio utility. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the SoundDesk Android application, including the standard app, optional Home/Launcher mode, app widget, loud-session guard, presets, settings, optional web search entry, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use SoundDesk.
SoundDesk is an Android audio utility for volume control, saved volume presets, visible loud-session guard, a home screen widget, and an optional audio-first Home/Launcher experience.
SoundDesk uses Android's standard volume controls. It does not record microphone audio, does not capture media audio from other apps, and does not promise to bypass Android, headset, speaker, or device-manufacturer audio limits.
SoundDesk may store the following information locally on your device to provide app features:
Android volume levels for controllable streams, such as media, ringtone, alarm, alerts, and system volume.
Saved volume presets that you create, rename, apply, or delete.
App settings, such as hearing reminder preference, default loud-guard timer, selected search provider, and launcher dock favorites.
A list of installed launchable apps when you use SoundDesk Home/Launcher mode. This is used locally to show the app drawer and pinned dock apps.
Temporary loud-guard session status, such as selected level, remaining timer, and notification stop action.
Widget state, such as current media volume display and last media volume index for mute/restore behavior.
This local data is not uploaded to our own servers.
SoundDesk uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app stability, diagnose crashes, and improve product quality.
Firebase Analytics may collect app usage and interaction data, including:
App opens.
Screen views.
Navigation actions.
Volume-control interactions, such as changing a stream percentage.
Preset actions, such as saving, applying, renaming, or deleting a preset.
Loud Guard actions, such as selecting a guard level, starting a guard session, stopping a guard session, or opening notification settings.
Settings, widget, and Home/Launcher actions.
App version, device metadata, operating system information, language, and similar technical information.
App instance identifiers, Firebase installation identifiers, Android Advertising ID, Android Ad Services ID, or other device identifiers where available.
Coarse geographic information that may be derived by Firebase or Google services from network or device signals, such as IP address. SoundDesk does not request Android location permission.
SoundDesk does not send your typed web search query text to Firebase Analytics. For Home web search, SoundDesk records only limited non-content metadata such as the selected provider and query length.
SoundDesk does not use Firebase Analytics to show ads in version 1.0.0.
Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash and diagnostic data, including:
Crash logs and stack traces.
App state related to the crash.
Device model, operating system version, app version, and similar technical diagnostics.
Crashlytics installation identifiers.
Non-fatal error reports that help us understand failures in Control or Loud Guard flows.
Limited logs or custom keys, such as the current screen or event source, used to debug app stability.
Crashlytics data is used to find, prioritize, and fix stability issues.
SoundDesk version 1.0.0 does not collect:
Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, calendar, photos, files, or account credentials.
Precise GPS location.
Microphone audio, call audio, or media content from other apps.
Web search query text in our analytics events.
External app names or package names in analytics events.
Payment information.
Health or medical records.
SoundDesk version 1.0.0 does not include an advertising SDK and does not sell personal information.
We use information to:
Provide local volume control, presets, mute/restore, widget, and Home/Launcher features.
Start, show, and stop visible Loud Guard sessions.
Remember your local app settings.
Understand which app features are used.
Measure app stability and diagnose crashes.
Improve app quality, reliability, and user experience.
Comply with legal, security, and platform requirements.
SoundDesk Home includes an optional web search entry. When you type a query and choose to search, SoundDesk opens the selected search provider in an external browser or browser-capable app.
SoundDesk does not collect or store your web search query text on our servers. However, the selected search provider and browser may receive your query and may process it under their own privacy policies.
Available providers in version 1.0.0 may include:
Google Search
Bing
DuckDuckGo
You should review the privacy policy of the search provider and browser you choose.
SoundDesk may request or use the following Android permissions and system capabilities:
Modify audio settings: used to read and adjust Android volume streams.
Post notifications: used to show Loud Guard status and stop controls on supported Android versions.
Foreground service: used to keep an active Loud Guard session visible and controllable while it is running.
Foreground service media playback type: used for the user-started Loud Guard foreground notification and stop control.
Set wallpaper: used only if you choose to apply a SoundDesk Home wallpaper.
Home/Launcher intent: used only if you choose SoundDesk as your Home app in Android settings.
App widget provider: used to provide SoundDesk media volume controls from the home screen.
Query launchable apps: used locally to display installed apps in SoundDesk Home/Launcher mode.
Internet and network state: added by Firebase SDKs for Analytics and Crashlytics communication.
Advertising ID / Android Ad Services ID: added by Firebase Analytics for analytics identifiers where available.
If you deny a permission, related features may be limited, but the core app can still be used where Android allows.
We use Google Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. These services process data on our behalf to provide analytics and crash reporting.
Firebase may process data according to Google's Firebase terms, Google APIs Terms of Service, and Google's privacy practices. You can learn more from Firebase documentation:
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Data collected through Firebase is processed by Google Firebase as a service provider for analytics and crash reporting. Firebase may use subprocessors and infrastructure providers to provide its services, as described in Firebase documentation and terms.
When you use optional web search, your query is sent directly to the selected external search provider through your browser. That processing is controlled by the provider and browser, not by SoundDesk.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request.
SoundDesk stores local presets, settings, selected search provider, and launcher dock favorites on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall SoundDesk.
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained according to the Firebase project settings and Google's Firebase retention practices. You may request deletion of data associated with your app usage by contacting us at fastproxyglobal@gmail.com. Because SoundDesk does not require user accounts, we may need reasonable information to identify and process applicable deletion requests where technically possible.
You can remove local SoundDesk data by:
Deleting saved presets inside the app.
Changing app settings inside the app.
Clearing SoundDesk app data in Android settings.
Uninstalling SoundDesk.
Resetting or deleting your Android Advertising ID in Android settings, where supported by your device.
SoundDesk is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at fastproxyglobal@gmail.com.
Local app settings and presets are stored using Android platform storage. Firebase data is transmitted using encrypted transport provided by Firebase and Google services. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to limit data collection to what is needed for app functionality, analytics, diagnostics, and quality improvement.
Firebase and other service providers may process information on servers located in countries or regions different from where you live. By using SoundDesk, you understand that information may be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable service provider terms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above and make the updated policy available at:

If future versions add advertising, accounts, cloud sync, paid features, location features, or other third-party services, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or at the time those features are released.
