After you install Logic Pro for iPad, you can download additional sound packs in the Sound Library. Sound packs contain Apple Loops, patches, drum kits, and other material that you can use in your projects.

Some sound packs may also be required in order to perform certain tasks, such as opening a Logic Pro for Mac project or a GarageBand song created on another device. If so, a message appears asking whether you want to download the required sound pack.

I created songs on my iPad with GarageBand and save them to iCloud. When I try to open one of the songs on my iPhone it said, "Missing Sound - This song is missing sound pack(s) that were originally downloaded from the GarageBand Sound Library. You will need to manually download each missing item to make this song complete." The only response options are Sound Library, and Cancel.

Going into the Sound Library from here doesn't highlight anything or show me what I might be missing. Similarly, I can't go ahead and open the specific song anyway to discover which tracks might be missing their associated sound libraries.

I have the same issue as described here but the difference is that I only use one device iPad. And the project I was working on suddenly stopped working. The problem occured with one percussion track that started to sound weird. So I cloosed the project and when I wanted to open it again I see Missing Sound - This song is missing aound pack(s)... Downloaded all possible sound packs but it didn't help. This problem relatws only to this one project. All other projects works fine. Any ideas what could go wrong?

You're welcome. It would be even easier, if we could include all necessary sounds with the project, when we want to copy it to a different device. hen we would not have to install the complete sound packs on the other device.

I have a quick question. I just purchased the IAE and CFM sound packs for the toliss a321. Following the instructions, I have to install the IAE first followed by the CFM but it says you have to reload the aircraft to get the CFM engine sounds to work.

My (maybe dumb) question is, do you have to do any folder modifications each time you reload a new livery/engine variant or will toliss know which sound pack to use depending on the engine variant/livery selected? In other words, if I select an IAE engine variant then switch to a CFM variant by reloading, will it be automatic?

Yes you need a separate folder for every type of sound. CFM gets its own IAE get its own. BSS sounds don't dynamically change as you change engines in the toliss control panel I actually prefer to do it that way anyway sounds or not for easier livery management.
