“Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
When we think of peace then we must need to learn to be patience. Nature is the best teacher, and it reveals how to achieve patience. We are always wondering to learn patience to control our situations and emotions. But we never know how to get it or where to get it. If you are one of those who can realize the power of nature, then you are capable enough to handle all situations.
I always spend time with nature to rejuvenate my inner soul and learn to calm. I often visit places that are closer to nature. This time I went to Khandadhar waterfall to rejuvenate my inner soul after an unexpected life-changing dramatic situation. This time my wife has joined me, and we both had enjoyed the journey.
The name "Khandadhar" is enough to illustrate the incredible hills. When the morning sun rays fall on the water drop then an impression of a sword appears (Khanda in Odia). The Khandadhar waterfall is the 12th highest waterfall in India and the second-highest waterfall in Odisha with a total height of 801 ft. or 244 meters. It is present in the Nandipani Village of Bonaigarh Block in Sundergarh, Odisha, India. The place is approximately 100 km from Rourkela, Odisha
We have started in the early morning around 07.00 AM and took the Gurundia Village route to explore nature. The road was completely breathtaking having trees on the sides, and some Ghats were putting an extra twist to the adventurous trip. We have taken three breaks and enjoyed some places. We reached there around 10.00 AM, finished our breakfast, and started trekking. The sound of the pounding water can be heard while trekking on the hill. The stairs were surrounded by green trees. The view was scenic, and water drops can be felt near the fall. The beauty of nature can not be explained in words.
We had left for home after having lunch in a Punjabi Dhaba near Rajamunda and reached Rourkela at 04.30 PM. The journey was so mesmerizing and unforgettable.
Thank you!!!
