About Me

Mr. Soumyadeep Ray received the Bachelor of Technology in Engineering degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat, West Bengal, India in 2011, Master of Technology in Engineering with honors in Power Electronics and Drives from the School of Electrical Engineering, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University (KiiT University), Bhubaneswar, India in 2014.

Now, he is pursuing Ph.D. degree in Multilevel Inverter based Shunt Active Power Filters from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (Govt. of India) Jaipur, India since July, 2015. He is currently doctoral research scholar at Department of Electrical Engineering, at Malaviya national Institute of Technology (Govt. of India), Jaipur, India.

He has been Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at R K University from 2014-2015. He has been with Panache Aluminium Extrusions Private Limited as Assistant Manager in Maintenance Department from 2011-2012, Teaching Assistant in School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT University from 2013-2014. His background is in the fields of power electronics engineering, control theory, shunt active power filtering applications, grid-tied large-scale PV, use of multilevel inverters in grid-integration.
