Teaching is often described as one of the most powerful ways to deepen your own understanding—and for good reason. When you teach a concept, you are forced to move beyond surface-level familiarity. You must organise your thoughts clearly, anticipate questions, simplify complex ideas, and connect theory with real-world examples. This process strengthens your conceptual clarity and reveals gaps in your knowledge that you might otherwise overlook. In my journey, embracing teaching has not only helped me master subjects more effectively but has also expanded my perspective, strengthened my communication skills, and made learning a far more purposeful and rewarding experience. I have been working as a Teaching Assistant for different courses at IIIT Hyderabad.
(CS1.407) Entropy and Information
This course is an elective course, and it is designed to give a holistic overview of information theory, specifically from a mathematical and foundational perspective. The instructor of this course was Dr. Indranil Chakrabarty (Mosoon 2025-26).
(MA2.101) Linear Algebra
This course is a mandatory mathematics course and is designed to provide a foundation in linear algebra, one of the basic mathematics courses. This course also applied linear algebra to different fields, such as Machine Learning and Quantum Mechanics. The instructors of this course were Dr. Siddhartha Das and Dr. Indranil Chakrabarty (Spring 2024-25) and Dr. Atul Singh Arora, Dr. Siddhartha Das, Dr. Gowtham R. Kurri (Spring 2025-26).

Also, this course consists advance experiments related to different fields of Physics, Chemistry and Biochemistry. The instructors of this course were Dr. Chittaranjan Hens, Dr. Tapan Kumar Sau (Spring 2025-26).
I have also worked as a volunteer and organiser of various workshops and conferences.
Quantum technologies are set to transform multiple sectors, with life sciences emerging as a key domain for early and high-impact applications. Recognizing this opportunity, the Centre for Quantum Science and Technology (CQST) and the Centre for Computational Natural Sciences and Bioinformatics (CCNSB) at International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, in collaboration with NITI Aayog’s Frontier Tech Hub and the Government of Telangana, are working towards developing a national roadmap for the adoption of quantum technologies in life sciences. This workshop brings together leading researchers, industry practitioners, startups, and policymakers to explore opportunities at the intersection of quantum technologies and life sciences. Through expert talks across four thematic areas and focused panel discussions on strategic pathways, the workshop aims to spark collaboration, identify grand challenges, and help shape a nationally scalable strategy for this emerging field.
