I currently serve as a postdoctoral research fellow within the NLP Research Group at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento, Italy. My academic journey led me to attain a Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, in 2023, under the guidance of Dr. Asif Ekbal and Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya. The focus of my doctoral dissertation was "Affective Analysis of Distress, Offensive Content, and Personality". Prior to my Ph.D., I completed my M.Tech. in Computer Science at Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, in 2014.

Passionate about deep learning and natural language processing, I am particularly drawn to research endeavors encompassing Information Extraction in the Medical Domain, Computational Modeling in Behavioral Data, Sentiment and Emotion Analysis, as well as Hate Speech and Offensive Content Analysis.
