Soumen Maji is a dedicated Water Resources Professional, researcher, and educator committed to advancing knowledge in water science and engineering. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar. With a strong academic and research orientation, he is actively engaged in exploring complex hydrodynamic phenomena and solving real-world water-related challenges. His broader research interests include sediment transport, applied hydrodynamics, turbulence, and emerging trends in hydraulic and water resources engineering. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to impactful research, Soumen Maji continues to contribute to the evolving landscape of water resources and hydraulic sciences through teaching, research, and collaborative initiatives.
