Biography

Dr. Soumendu Sinha received his B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. He joined CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani as a Trainee Scientist where he completed M.Tech. from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), India. He then worked as Research Assistant at National University of Singapore (NUS) where he was a recipient of NGS scholarship. He joined CSIR-CEERI, Pilani as a Scientist and simultaneously completed his Ph.D. from AcSIR. He is currently working as a Scientist-E in Semiconductor Sensors and Microsystems Group at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani. He is also an Assistant Professor at AcSIR, India. He has authored and co-authored over 50 papers in reputed journals and national/international conferences. His current research interests are in the interdisciplinary areas of MEMS-based sensors and transducers and intelligent microsystems development.
