This Privacy Policy describes how SoulPlan ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the SoulPlan mobile application (the "App"). By using SoulPlan, you agree to this Policy.

SoulPlan is a date-planning and relationship app for couples. We help you plan dates with AI suggestions, save memories together, take a couple-type quiz, share a seasonal recap ("Wrapped"), let friends pick your next date through a poll, and receive anonymous questions via an opt-in "Ask Box."

Account information: name, email address (or Apple Sign-in private relay address), phone number, and profile photo when you sign up.
Profile preferences: relationship status, partner name, love language, vibe preferences and other answers you choose to provide.
Partner data: phone numbers of people you choose to invite as your partner (read from your contacts only with your explicit OS permission), and the partner UID you link with.
Date content: dates you create, venue selections, scheduled times, notes, ratings, and photos you upload to memories.
Community content: posts, comments, reactions, mood tags, and photos you publish to the community feed.
Ask Box content: anonymous questions sent to you by others through your opt-in public ask link, and the answers you publish.
AI Concierge conversations: messages you send to and receive from the in-app AI date concierge.
Reports & blocks: content you flag as objectionable and users you block.
Payment information: subscription purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never receive your full card number. We do receive transaction status and renewal events from Apple/Google to manage your subscription.
Device data: device model, operating system version, locale and language, time zone, app version, and a randomly generated device identifier.
Approximate location (only when you grant location permission): used to find date venues near you. You can deny this permission and the app still works.
Usage analytics: aggregate, non-personal events such as screen views, button taps, and feature usage to help us improve the App.
Diagnostics: crash reports and performance logs to fix bugs.
Push notification token: a non-personal token used to deliver notifications to your device.
Sign-in providers (Apple, Google): when you sign in we receive your name, email address, and the unique provider ID.
Phone-number verification: Firebase Authentication uses your phone number to verify your account.
We use the data above to:
Create and operate your account and partner pairing.
Generate AI-powered date ideas, AI Concierge responses, and personalized recommendations.
Display venues near you using your approximate location.
Deliver memories, Wrapped recaps, couple-type results, and shareable cards.
Run the community feed and Ask Box and moderate content.
Process and renew your subscription.
Send notifications you've opted into (date reminders, partner invitations, ask-box questions, etc.).
Detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse and safety issues.
Improve the App (analytics, crash reports, A/B tests).
Comply with legal obligations.
We will not use your data for purposes incompatible with the above without first informing you.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:
Performance of a contract — to provide the App and your subscription.
Your consent — for optional permissions (location, contacts, notifications, tracking).
Legitimate interests — for analytics, security, and product improvement.
Legal obligation — for required disclosures and content moderation.
You may withdraw consent at any time.

Every permission is opt-in — the App functions without any of them. You can change permissions any time in your device settings.
We share data only:
With the third-party providers above, strictly to operate the App.
With your partner, for content you intentionally share (dates, memories, invitations).
With other users, for content you intentionally publish (community posts, anonymous ask-box answers, Wrapped cards, polls). Anonymous questions are visible to the receiving couple but never linked to the asker's identity.
With friends who vote on your shared poll link — they see the poll question and the options but never your identity or location.
As required by law — to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
In a corporate transaction — if SoulPlan is involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred with notice to you.
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
You agree not to post objectionable content, including but not limited to: harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit material, threats, self-harm content, or spam.
We provide the following moderation tools:
Pre-publish keyword filter on community posts, comments, ask-box questions, and AI concierge prompts.
Report action on posts, comments, ask-box questions, AI concierge responses.
Block other users from interacting with you.
Delete your own content at any time.
Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Confirmed violations result in content removal and may lead to account suspension or termination. We comply with applicable laws regarding illegal content.
SoulPlan is intended for users aged 17 and over and is rated 17+ in the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact anaskay.13@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We retain your data:
Account data: while your account exists, plus up to 30 days after you delete your account.
Date / memory / community content: until you delete it, plus up to 30 days in backups.
Anonymous ask-box questions: until you delete them, plus reasonable backup retention.
Reports & moderation records: up to 24 months for safety and compliance.
Subscription transaction records: up to 7 years for tax compliance.
Analytics and crash logs: up to 14 months.
You can request earlier deletion at any time (see §11).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Export your data in a portable format.
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email anaskay.13@gmail.com with your request and the email/phone number associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days.
In-app: you can also delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.
We use industry-standard security measures: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for Firebase data, App Check to block unauthorized API access, and access controls limiting which engineers can view production data. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we will notify you within 72 hours if a breach affects your data.
SoulPlan is operated globally. Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States and the European Union, where our service providers operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses and provider data-processing agreements to protect your data during these transfers.
If you are a California resident:
You may request to know, delete, or correct your personal information.
You may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your data — though we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising in the CCPA sense.
You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
