The meaning of the word "Soulé"
Soleil, pronounced "Soul-aye", is the French word for sun. Anyone that knows the owner of Soulé Nail Artistry, knows that she loves being in the sun and soaking up the light every chance she gets. The energy the sun gives her is indescribable. It gives her warmth and is always the cure to make her feel better whenever she's down. This is the same feeling she strives to bring her clients when they receive her services. A positive and uplifting environment that warms their soul.

About the CEO
Soulé Nail Artistry is owned by 24 year old Jasmyn Yorkshire. She is a part-time college student currently studying business administration with a concentration in marketing at Bowie State University. She began her business in 2020 in hopes to learn how to maintain her own nails while the nail salons were closed during the pandemic. After becoming experienced with how to do the trendy, fun nail designs she gained a great amount of recognition on social media causing her business to grow tremendously. She then decided to go to nail school and received her nail technology license a couple months later. After thoroughly studying the anatomy, health, and integrity of nails she learned that a lot of the traditional nail salons do not take the proper care when servicing their clients. They use damaging nail products, they're inconsistent with properly cleaning/ disinfecting their tools and are infamous for providing bad customer service towards people of color. As a woman of color, Ms. Yorkshire felt it was necessary to create a welcoming environment for women like her to go to when getting manicure and pedicure services so she created Soulé Nail Artistry. It causes fingernail damage, deformity, contact dermatitis, allergies, permanent nail loss. EMA has been declared safe and approved for use in the beauty industry by the FDA, because it does not damage the nail plate in any way. This is what we use because we care about the health of your nails!!!
