Saxophone

Seth Sullivan is a jazz saxophonist. A bandleader at large, he has performed with his own groups frequently. Also a member of the Heart of Carolina Jazz Orchestra with Dr. Gregg Gelb, he has played with many names around the area. He is a Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble alum, performing at the Essentially Ellington Competition and the Midwest Clinic. He also won the John Coltrane jazz and blues international festival student contest and made All State Jazz for North Carolina. His other performances include Jo Gore and Al Strong. Notable performance venues include Missy Lanes, Bond Brothers Eastside, Essentially Ellington Contest, PP of NC Carolina Photo Expo, and Niche Wine Lounge. Seth is currently studying with Branford Marsalis, among others, at NC Central University.
