Hi there, My name is Yaren! I go by Soublaee (pronounced soo-blaye) and Yarn online. I'm a 2D Game artist that specializes in Concept Art and Character Design. Right now, I'm a Game Art Student at the HKU, working on a solo project (Project Paracosm) where I'm focusing on learning 2D animation. I'm also looking for a 2D Game Art internship for the upcoming semester (September 2026 - January 2027). I'm available for both on-site (in NL) and remote internships.

I love vibrancy, Y2K Aesthetics, the hex code #C8FF00 and very specifically four-pointed stars- but I also love sci-fi, the abstract and the otherwordly. I often end up inspired by my favorite media, which is usually western animation as you can tell from my stylized works.
