Purpose
The invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022 has disrupted the lives and work of our Ukrainian colleagues. Scientists, engineers, students and educators in general have been displaced and, in many cases, their places of work have been obliterated. Many years of research efforts came to a standstill and the professional future of our colleagues in the Optical Sciences remain uncertain.
In this light, OPTICA Ambassadors from Ukraine invite the global scientific community to take a moment to review the Ukraine's current geopolitical situation, the far-reaching effects of Ukraine’s invasion thus far as well as to thank Optica’s continued efforts in support of our Ukrainian colleagues.

Our community establish annual meeting to see each other discuss different problems of Ukrainian Science in a reality of war and difficult circumstances and think about the possible solutions.
This is an open event, the global Optics and Photonics community as well as Scientific and Educators communities are invited to attend.
