Bilan de l’année
Cette année universitaire a été l’occasion de relancer l’association SORA après sa création et ses débuts en distanciel. Encore une fois, nous profitons de cette newsletter et de ce bilan pour remercier le bureau précédent qui a tenu et posé les fondements de l’association durant cette période.
Ainsi, nous avons pu prendre nos marques et organiser nos premiers évènements en présentiel, d’abord au 199 boulevard Saint-Germain, puis sur le campus du 1er Saint-Thomas d’Aquin. Nous prévoyons d’intensifier la fréquence de ces évènements l’année prochaine et espérons qu’ils deviendront de véritables rendez-vous pour les étudiant.e.s de l’École de la recherche.
Nous avons tout d’abord établi un lien précieux avec l’ensemble de l’administration de l’École de la recherche, et nous les remercions pour leur accompagnement et leur aide tout au long de cette année. Ils nous ont notamment donné l’occasion d’être associé.e.s à l’organisation d’un certain nombre d’évènements sur la professionnalisation, comme des rencontres avec des diplômé.e.s et l’organisation en fin d’année de la semaine des métiers de la recherche. Nous en profitons pour vous rappeler qu’à cette occasion, nous avons présenté un groupe LinkedIn alumni que vous pouvez rejoindre.
De même, nous avons eu l’occasion de travailler avec la bibliothèque, dont le fruit de la collaboration est notamment visible au sein d’une rubrique que vous avez sûrement vu au sein de notre newsletter, et nous les en remercions.
Nous avons aussi commencé à rencontrer les différents laboratoires, avec des visites du CDSP, du CEE et du département d’économie. Nous les remercions encore de nous avoir ouvert leurs portes et nous espérons sincèrement renouveler et élargir ces évènements pour l’année à venir.
Nous avons aussi travaillé sur un certain nombre d’évènements et de projets que nous prévoyons de mettre en place dès la rentrée prochaine. Ainsi, si vous avez des idées ou que vous souhaitez vous impliquer dans l’association, n’hésitez surtout pas à nous le faire savoir !

The year in review
This academic year has been the occasion to relaunch the SORA association after its creation and its distant beginnings. Once again, we would like to take the opportunity of this newsletter and this report to thank the previous board who held and laid the foundations of the association during this period.
Thus, we were able to take our bearings and organise our first face-to-face events, first at 199 boulevard Saint-Germain, then on the campus of the 1st Saint-Thomas d'Aquin. We plan to intensify the frequency of these events next year and hope that they will become real meetings for the students of the School of Research.
First of all, we have established a valuable link with the whole administration of the Research School, and we thank them for their support and help throughout this year. In particular, they have given us the opportunity to be involved in the organisation of a number of events on professionalisation, such as meetings with graduates and the organisation of the research careers week at the end of the year. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that on this occasion, we presented a LinkedIn alumni group that you can join.
We also had the opportunity to work with the library, whose collaboration is visible in a section that you have surely seen in our newsletter, and we thank them for that.
We have also started to meet the different laboratories, with visits to the CDSP, the CEE and the Department of Economics. We thank them again for opening their doors to us and we sincerely hope to repeat and expand these events in the coming year.
We have also been working on a number of events and projects that we plan to put in place for the new school year. So if you have any ideas or would like to get involved in the association, please let us know!
