Pneumatic Icosahedron

In recent years, research on thin pneumatic actuators, known as Pouch Motors [Niiyama et al., 2014], has been gaining attention. However, this method had difficulty in achieving complex three-dimensional shapes. Therefore, we created and exhibited an artwork consisting of pouch motors shaped into a regular icosahedron.
