Hello and welcome!

I am Sophie Behr, a research associate and PhD candidate at the DIW Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin. My research focuses on environmental and energy economics, as well as climate policy. I am particularly interested in building sector decarbonization and its distributional implications, carbon pricing, and circular economy. My supervisor is Prof. Karsten Neuhoff, PhD.

I hold a MSc in Economics from the University of Hamburg, a BSc in Economics from Leuphana University Lüneburg and spend part of my studies at the University of Bologna.
