Assistant Instructor 2023, Teaching Assistant 2021

After working for a summer as a teaching assistant, I was invited back to teach as an assistant instructor. In this role I overhauled the explosive volcanology curriculum, which included adding new field sites and creating new lectures and assignments. Curriculum focused on fundamental themes of explosivity, including magma source conditions, fragmentation, and transportation, as well as the social dimension of risk and hazard.

Introductory Field School, Introduction to Petrology, Advanced Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Mineralogy,  and Volcanology.
