I am a postdoctorial researcher, working in the group of Roberto Cerbino at the SoMeX Lab, University of Vienna. As a theoretical physicist in an experimental group, I aim to connecting theoretical predictions with experimental measurements. Currently, I am exploring the similarities and differences between Differential Dynamic Microscopy (DDM) and the intensity countoscope.

My background lies in theoretical physics and I obtained my PhD under the supervision of Matthias Schmidt at the University of Bayreuth. My doctoral research focused on continuous symmetries and corresponding forces in many-body systems. In particular I used Noether's theorem to determine exact identities and studied their consequences for thermal and active Brownian particles. After my PhD I continued working at the University of Bayreuth as a postoctoral researcher, investigating force correlations in bulk fluids and the phase bahaviour of active Brownian particles, the latter using power functional theory (PFT).
As a Marie Curie fellow at the PHENIX Lab, a joint research unit of the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) and the Sorbonne University, I collaborated with Sophie Marbach. I worked on quantifying dynamic properties, such as diffusion coefficents, from intensity correlations. This led to the development of the intensity countoscope.
