Q: What are some things that you stand for?
A: There are many things that I believe in and will stand up for. Some of these include LGBTQ+ Rights, supporting students with learning disabilities, and atypical families. You can click here or go to the advocacy page to learn more about each of these topics.
Q: Why did you become a teacher?
A: I became a teacher because I had very influential teachers in my childhood that made me want to become a teacher and follow in their footsteps. I want to give students the best opportunities to learn and thrive in the classroom environment and outside or it.
Q: Where can homework be found?
A: Homework can be found here or under any of the homework tabs

Q: How much will technology be used in your classroom?
A: Technology will be used to enhance lessons, but will not be used for every lesson. Students will learn how to use what they have access to and how to use it in ways that are beneficial for them.

A: An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is essentially a set of rules for our classroom, but you can also have one at home. You can find more information about it here.

A: Digital citizenship is important because knowing how to be safe online and knowing how to use technology is very important in today's world.
Q: Where can I go to get an overview of what my students will be learning this year?
A: The class Padlet can give you more information on what your student will be learning this year and will be updated further as we go throughout the year. It can be found on the home page or here.
Q: What can I expect from your class?
A: You can expect to learn, but have fun doing it! Don't expect to be sitting in the same spot all day in your desk, you will be moving around and having fun! I want to make sure your students are learning at grade level or above, but they should not be bored all day.
