Sophia Nyunt is a young multifaceted Burmese-Chinese artist with known for her performances on and off screen.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Nyunt went to an international school throughout her years of learning which led her to experience many different situations where she had learned to problem solve. Using her personal experiences and with a passion for creativity and storytelling, she continues to explore various artistic avenues and connect with audiences through her diverse talents such as music and songwriting, writing books, filming and acting.
On the more academic side of things, she has completed a psychology introductory course from Yale University as well as completing her high school studies at Renaissance College Hong Kong.
In 2023, she started a business "tigerseye self healing" focusing on selling mental health products which then money goes to help people in Myanmar.
Nyunt has currently authored 4 books so far in the past few years, including children's chapter books such as "The Friendship Team" series, as well as more coming of age books such as "Into Perfection". She had also been performing Chinese Opera on stage every year in Hong Kong's Sha Tin Town Hall since 2018 up till 2025.
On the musical side, she has been writing and creating music and working on her debut album "Polaroids" as well as preparing to star in "The Wizard of Oz" as 'Aunt Em' in a local production.
She now owns her own production company "kyar productions" and is producing, directing, starring and writing more on screen projects, which not only includes "Into Perfection" but also her new upcoming docu-series "90 Days".
