Who am I?
About me
My name is Sophia Freeman and I am a Junior in the IBCP Engineering track. My goal in the future is to become an Aerospace Engineer and work in the field of jets and weapon mechanics. I am on First Robotics team 5919 Joco Robos where I am electrical lead in charge of effectivly designing, prototyping, testing, and creating mechanisms to compete with. I am also a proud member of the Spartan Regiment marching band and serve as a section leader for the drumline in which I play snare drum. In my free time I enjoy to travel and explore new things, no matter how weird they may seem, the most recent of which has been goat yoga!
Short Term Goals
Some of my short term goals include graduating high school with my IBCP Certificate, going to FRC States with my robotics team, and getting accepted to college for an undergraduate in either Physics or Applied Mathematics.
Long Term Goals
My long term goals include traveling to all seven continents, becoming an Aerospace engineer who can make a global impact, and overall creating meaningful relationships to both continously learn and love life!
Reflection of Development
Why Engineering?
I chose the Engineering track in the Internation Bacclaurate Carrer-related Program because I have always loved to build things. Being able to create, design, and test has always been an interest to me. I am most excited to learn more when it comes to design processes, calculus, applied physics, and of course Aerospace in general.
