This course was designed as a self-paced interactive lesson when members of the high school band were going out of state for a national competition. The goal was for them to be able to keep up with their instruction without an instructor-led course. Using the Florida state standards, I designed and published the course comparing scenes from Shakespeare's "King Lear" to the corresponding scenes from the older "Tragedy of Cordelia" and modern stage versions of the play. Learners completed tasks on a Google doc using information from the presentation. These answers were then input to a Google form designed for self-correction and addressing misconceptions. The form results were available to the teachers. The course was embedded into the Canvas LMS platform.
