The gameplay mechanics are based on classic SRPGs like Fire Emblem, but with various modifications.Firstly, the engagement mechanic, where a unit, after engaging another, is forced to remain "locked" in combat until they have no more engaged enemies. Another mechanic is that damage in combat is calculated and inflicted only at the end of the turn for both sides.
