About me

 I am originally from Silver Spring, MD and I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2002.  I finished my PhD at Columbia University under the direction of David Bayer in 2009. From 2009 until 2011, I was a postdoc at Duke University working with Ezra Miller.  I was then at Notre Dame for 11 years as  teaching faculty and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Math.  Currently I am an Associate Professor of  Instruction at Northwestern University.

My research interests are computational commutative algebra and algebraic geometry.
