SF08 was created on February 7, 2015, but no videos were uploaded until nearly 3 years later on December 21, 2017.

SF08 joined Roblox on January 9, 2018, and Fandom around late April 2018. SF08 has also joined Scratch on May 5, and DeviantArt on December 2018. SF08 would join Geometry Dash in 2022, and FlashThemes on January 25, 2024.

SF08Alt was created on September 8, 2018, followed by SF08theKeyboardSmasher later that month, and SF08 TV & SF08VideoEffects on October 4, 2021.

In May 2022, SF08theKeyboardSmasher closed, and all videos have been moved to the main SF08 channel.

A concept channel called SF08FlashThemes was made, but it was planned to launch on February 1, 2024, until FlashThemes videos should be uploaded to the main channel.
