Welcome to Sonic Sweep (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sonic Sweep application and all related features, content, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
By using Sonic Sweep, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Sonic Sweep ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the App following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under the age of 18, you represent that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Sonic Sweep is a utility application that provides the following features:
Speaker Cleaning: Plays specially tuned sound tones intended to help loosen dust and push out water that may be trapped in your device's speaker.
Water Eject: Uses sound waves to help expel water from your device's speaker grille.
Microphone & Speaker Test: Helps you check whether your device's microphone or speakers are functioning properly.
Decibel (dB) & Frequency (Hz) Meter: Provides measurements of ambient sound levels and the frequencies your device can reproduce.
Sound Sanctuary: Offers a collection of soundscapes intended for relaxation, focus, and sleep.
You acknowledge and agree that the App's cleaning, water-eject, and testing features are provided on an "as-is" basis and are intended as helpful tools only. We do not guarantee that the App will remove all dust or water from your device, or that it will accurately detect hardware issues. The dB and Hz meter functions rely on your device's built-in microphone and sensors and are intended for general, informational purposes only; they are not calibrated instruments and should not be relied upon for professional, scientific, medical, or legal purposes.
You use the App entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the App's output. We strongly recommend that you take reasonable precautions when using the cleaning and water-eject features, including keeping the device volume at a comfortable level to protect your hearing and the device's speakers.
The sounds produced by the App, including cleaning tones and soundscapes, may be played at varying volumes and frequencies. Prolonged exposure to loud sounds may damage your hearing or your device. Please do not place the device directly against your ear while cleaning tones are playing. If you experience any discomfort, stop using the App immediately. The relaxation and meditation soundscapes are provided for general wellness purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
You agree that you will not, and will not permit others to:
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law;
Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems.
The App offers an optional paid subscription ("Premium") that unlocks additional features, including unlimited cleaning and water eject, unlimited dB and frequency testing, full access to all soundscapes, and an ad-free experience.
Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through your device's account settings.
All purchases are processed by the applicable app store, and refunds are subject to that store's policies. We do not directly process payments and have no access to your full payment card details.
The free version of the App may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of any advertisements or for any products or services offered by advertisers. Upgrading to Premium removes advertisements from the App.
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, audio, soundscapes, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Sonic Sweep or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the App other than the limited license expressly set forth herein.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SONIC SWEEP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sonic Sweep and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which the App provider is located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located therein.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
