I am a postdoctoral researcher at Bocconi University. I work on the PRIN project "Economic development in Italy from the Middle Ages to today: a regional perspective".

My research interests focus on economic history and historical demography. 

I obtained my PhD in Economics at the University of Luxembourg during which I worked mainly on inequality and social mobility in the long run. I am now working on demographic growth and urbanisation in pre-unification Italian States (1500-1860).
