On this page I will share backing tracks made with SongStyler. A backing track has two parts:
The song text file. This is a simple text file but formatted so that SongStyler can play the file directly to your midi output device.
The Yamaha advanced arranger midi file. This is a special midi file created by SongStyler to play the song directly to your device as a "SYSEX" midi file, a special midi file that "plays" you keyboard's style for you so you can concentrate on singing or playing along.
Backing tracks are a great tool for gigging artists.
NOTE 1: Only advanced arrangers like Tyros, SX range and Genos can read these special sysex midi files.
NOTE 2: Once you have the sysex backing track you don't need SongStyler. You keyboard can load the file directly and play the song.
