Frequently Asked Questions

How does stem separation work? SongStems uses AI to separate any song into individual tracks — vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments. All processing happens directly on your device, so your music library stays completely private.

Is my music uploaded to a server? No. All stem separation runs locally on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared.

What does the Pro upgrade unlock? The one-time Pro purchase unlocks unlimited stem separations. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.

Can I export the separated stems? Yes. You can export individual stems or mixes to use in your DAW, share with bandmates, or save for later practice.

How do I loop a section of a song? Open any song, tap the + icon next to loops, grab the handles and set your loop start and end points, and the section will repeat automatically. You can save multiple loops per song.

I'm having an issue with the app. What should I do? Please email clymersupport@gmail.com with a description of the issue, your device model, and your iOS version. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
