• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used only when you choose to record audio within the App. Audio is stored locally and not transmitted.

• Billing: Used for in-app purchases to remove ads or unlock premium features

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is configured to not serve ads to users identified as under the age of consent.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Song and Project Data: Lyrics, chord charts, tablature, project names, and any content you create or import into the App.

• Audio Recordings: If you use the recording feature, audio files are stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud.

• Collaboration Information: When sharing projects, participant names and iCloud identifiers are used to facilitate collaboration.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for advertising purposes (with your consent).

• Usage Data: App interaction patterns, features used, and session duration to improve the user experience.

• Crash and Diagnostic Data: Technical information about app crashes to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google AdMob: When you view ads, Google may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Section 4 for details.

• Apple StoreKit: Purchase transaction data is processed by Apple for in-app purchases.

3. Data Storage and Sync

3.1 Local Storage

Your song data, projects, and recordings are stored locally on your device using Core Data with file protection enabled. This means your data is encrypted when your device is locked.

3.2 iCloud Sync

The App uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your data across your devices signed into the same iCloud account. This includes:

• Songs and chord charts

• Projects and setlists

• Audio recordings and memos

• Collaboration shares

Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

3.3 Collaboration (CloudKit Sharing)

When you share a project:

• Other participants can view and edit shared content

• Participant iCloud identities are visible to collaborators

• You can revoke access at any time

• If you leave a shared project, your local copy remains but sync stops

4. Advertising

4.1 Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Google may collect:

• Advertising ID (IDFA) with your consent

• Device information

• IP address

• App usage data

4.2 App Tracking Transparency

On iOS 14.5+, we request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes. You can:

• Allow Tracking: Receive personalized ads based on your interests

• Ask App Not to Track: Receive contextual ads that are not personalized

You can change this setting anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

4.3 SKAdNetwork

We participate in Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving ad attribution. This does not identify you personally.

4.4 Removing Ads

You can remove all advertisements by purchasing the "Remove Ads" lifetime upgrade. This eliminates all ad-related data collection by third-party ad networks within the App.

5. Microphone Access

The App requests microphone access for:

• Guitar Tuner: Detecting pitch to help you tune your instrument

• Audio Recording: Recording practice sessions or song memos

Microphone data is processed locally on your device. Audio recordings are stored only on your device and in your iCloud account (if sync is enabled). We do not transmit audio data to our servers.

6. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment information. Purchase records are stored locally to verify your entitlements. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited circumstances:

• With Your Consent: When you share projects with collaborators

• Service Providers: Google (for advertising) and Apple (for iCloud sync and payments)

• Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
