Welcome to Sonflower Photography LLC, a renewed creative self care journey ~ named in honor of our first “Sonflower”, now nine years old and joined by his five year old little brother! This all began in spirit of my 30th birthday with a ruby red Nikon gifted to me by my husband Pete, a.k.a red beard. 

Having spent the last fifteen years working within the sacred realm of hospice, nurturing one’s legacy has become central to my photography and life philosophy. My goal is to exhibit a reverence, respect, and light on your moments of meaning. My strengths are portraiture, preferably outdoors or in the comfort of your space and lifestyle photography. I offer a calm presence with people and animals alike, and love including and/or featuring your family pets! When I am not photographing family portraits, you can find me birdwatching  and photographing not only our feathered friends but other wildlife and nature as well!
