Facilities

• We have a HOLMARC HO-AMS-FL-5000CX inverted Fluorescence microscope with a heating stage.

• A Labpro India upright microscope.

• Chemistry Lab for preparation of samples.

• Set-up for in-situ measurements of colloidal samples under DC/AC electric field on the microscope stage.

From our Central Sophisticated Instrumentation Facility (CSIF) at BITS Goa, we access the following instruments:

• Scanning Electron microscope (Zeiss)

• Confocal microscope (Olympus)

• Raman Spectrometer

• DLS and Zetasizer

• X-ray Diffraction

At the Physics department, we also have access to the following DST-FIST sponsored facility:

• PPMS for measurement of transport and magnetic properties of samples.
