Research Interests
Renewable Energy Policy and Regulations, Energy Economics, Energy Storage Systems, Power System Flexibility, Green Hydrogen, Climate Change and Decarbonization
I am currently working on the economic and regulatory aspects of Renewable Energy (RE) integration and power system decarbonization through power system modeling. Power system flexibility and storage play crucial roles in ensuring the reliability and stability with increased share of intermittent RE share in the system. Policy interventions aimed at enhancing flexibility and promoting storage technologies also play a significant role. My research focuses on policy analysis and trajectories for RE integration, emphasizing least-cost technology options. The analysis involves power system modeling followed by a comprehensive policy analysis.
