Measurement

1. Somobysomo will take a full and detailed set of measurements at the time of your order and will make your outfit according to these measurements. Please note that following our waist-snatching technique, your waist measurement taken at the time of your order will be 2 inches smaller or more.

2. For our long-distance clients, we will fix an appointment via either a zoom call or a Whatsapp video call where you will be guided and directed on how to take your accurate measurements. You will be needing someone to assist, a measuring tape, a waist tape, a pen and a paper to record these measurements. In cases where you are not available for an appointment, we are trusting you to provide us with your accurate measurements as your outfit will be made to the measurements you provide and we will not accept responsibility for the accuracy of measurements sent.

3. If a drastic weight loss or gain occurs between fittings without informing us on the day of your appointment, you will be charged for making changes to your outfit.

Fittings

1. Somobysomo sees clients strictly by appointments. Fittings are held in our studio located in Lekki phase1, Lagos.

2. You are expected to bring to your fittings, your shoes (Mandatory) and accessories (Optional) that you intend to wear with the completed outfit.

3. We conduct fittings between 10am and 6pm Mondays- Fridays. Fittings outside these times can sometimes be accommodated, by special arrangement only.

4. Kindly come to your fittings ALONE. (There are exceptions to come with an extra person if stated before the fitting day).

5. For our long-distance clients, we will require your approval to get a model of similar sizing so we can send proper fittings videos across to you, to get a clearer picture of the entire look. This is totally optional. However, we recommend it.

6. If during fittings, you simply change your mind on outfit details previously agreed on (where possible), you will be charged extra fees based on the changes requested for.

Payments And Timeline

1. A non-refundable consultation fee of $70 is required to book an appointment. This is required to get to know our client’s personality and need in details.

2. You are required to make a minimum of 60% deposit of your overall cost before we proceed with your order. Your delivery time starts to count upon payment of this initial deposit.

3. Upon completion and approval of final outfit, you are required to make all pending balance payments, including estimated shipping cost (where applicable) before collection or delivery.

4. Somobysomo estimated timeline for an outfit to be completed is 6 weeks after the required deposit is made and confirmed. For our bridal wears, 12weeks after the required deposit is made and confirmed. Any order expected to be delivered earlier than the estimated time will be classified as an express order and will be charged a premium.

5. You are expected to pay ONLY into the “Somo House Limited” account provided.

Refund Policy

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on our custom-made outfits.
