For Parents

We ask all parents to:

• Complete the parent contact & involvement form, regardless if they can volunteer or donate to the Booster Club. Parents will be added to our contact list either via email, WhatsApp, or any other requested methods. We'll send out announcements on classroom needs or happenings throughout the year. The form will also let us know who can volunteer, we will reach out to those who sign up (see the Instructions for Volunteers section below) 

• Remember that any parent/guardian/family member that wants to volunteer needs to complete the volunteer sign-up form on Raptor Tech. We have instructions  on our website. Complete this now now, don’t wait until you wish to volunteer as the  process can take a few days. You must have this form done if you wish to help on campus, or chaperone in a field trip

  Shirts this year will be a new color - white with a black SoMi logo- and are availbale for $25. Sweatshirts will be a dark gray with a white logo and are available for $45. The last day to purchase is November 18, 2022 - make sure to purchase your shirts as they are required for school field-trips!

  Our best fundraising opportunity - all donations are matched, and an extra percentage is added during our “Power” Hour. Last year was our 1st, raised more than $2,300 for the classroom which will help cover some of the costs of this year's end-of-the-year banquet, and buses for some of our upcoming field-trips. This year, thanks to an anonymous donor, donations will be matched up to $1000 for all organizations! Don't forget to pledge and support the SoMi Art Magnet students!
