My first flight was delayed and I almost did not make it to my connecting flight. This is my first time flying international. I got to the airport 3 hours early and had my grandmother walk me in because I was so nervous. 

A day prior before my flight I totaled my car on the way to Nashville, from which I was departing. Then I had to complete a sobriety test on the side of the road in front of rush hour traffic. Although I passed this test with flying colors, I could not stop crying and felt really embarrassed. When I went to pick up my luggage out of my car at the tow truck facility, the tow truck's son told me these touching words "cars are replaceable, people are not". It's been a rocky start but I'm hopeful things will get better.
