This privacy policy explains what data Some Monke Game ("the App", "we", "our") collects when you play, and how that data is used. Some Monke Game is a VR multiplayer game available on the Meta Horizon Store.
Data We Collect
Meta User ID: Used to create a persistent player account, so your progress, purchases, and cosmetic items are correctly saved to you between play sessions.
Meta User Profile (username): Displayed in-game so other players can identify who they are interacting with (for example, on the in-game leaderboard).
In-game inventory and virtual currency data: Stored via our backend service provider (PlayFab, a Microsoft Azure service) to track which cosmetic items you own and how much in-game currency you have.
How We Use This Data
We use this data solely to operate core game functionality:
Maintaining your player account and progress across sessions
Tracking ownership of cosmetic items you have unlocked or purchased
Displaying player names in-game to other players
Moderation, including banning players who violate our community rules
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Data Storage
Player account and inventory data is stored using PlayFab, a backend service running on Microsoft Azure. Data is retained for as long as your player account exists, or until you request deletion (see below).
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except with our backend service provider (PlayFab/Microsoft) as necessary to operate the game, and where required by law.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your player data at any time by contacting us using the information below.
