Partnering with local companies and our residents when IT needs arise

After honorably separating from the Air Force, I continued the educational pursuit of a Bachelors in Information Technology and continued on to acquire my Masters in Cyber Security with an accompanying certificate in Cyber Crime. 

During these years of education I began work with a bank known locally to the region and began applying my education to the relatable work environments. 

Over the years serving as a help desk technician I begun to have the urges to expand my knowledge and experience to different environments. This landed me in a local IT consulting company were I was given more reach over what I could do. I quickly began to excel at this environment of newer technologies and methods while also, retaining the ability to keep up with older technology. 

During this time of building customer environments and relationships, I felt a yearning to get back into the government and support our service members but, as a civilian. Later into my consulting career I was picked up by the Department of Defense to assist in an IT role. 

This short period of time under the D.O.D. brought some realization to my life. So, when I was making the normal commute everyday it gave me plenty of time to think and wonder. Could I entertain the idea of starting my own business? 

Within a 6 month period I was presented with an idea. An idea that had been only a flicker in my mind was now becoming quite the torch. This decision to was very clear to say the least. Companies and friends were seeking my help, it was on me to make the big decision to leave a steady paying government job and future to consider going in for myself.

So, what does the encouragement of good friends look like? It looks like a grand future, that's what it looks like. 

After some serious thinking and praying plus discussions had, it was evident that the Gibson's were going to start what is now called, Somebody's IT Guy, LLC.
