Dr. Soumyendu Banerjee

Soumyendu Banerjee obtained his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering in the year of 2016, from the Govt. College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampur, under West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). He obtained his M.Tech in Electrical Engineering in 2018, under the guidance of Dr. Rajarshi Gupta, from the University of Calcutta. On August 1st, 2022, he graduated with a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, under the supervision of Dr. Girish Kumar Singh. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, machine learning, optimization, microcontroller. He has been employed as an Associate Professor at the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata since August 10, 2022, in the department of Electrical Engineering. His area of specialization is Digital Signal Processing.

Soumyendu Banerjee has 15 Publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences (Journals 10, Conferences 5). He is currently working on multilead Electrocardiogram signal compression using machine learning and secured data steganography.

Soumyendu Banerjee has also 1 year of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata from 03/07/2018 to 03/07/2019, in Electrical Engineering Department.
