I am Soma Das (in native script: সোমা দাস ), an NBHM PDF in the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore Centre, under the mentorship of Prof. Jaydeb Sarkar.
I completed my PhD in August 2023 from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati under the supervision of Dr. Arup Chattopadhyay.
My broad research area is Operator theory. More precisely, I am working on
Multivariable operator theory ( Hardy space theory, Invariant subspace problem, Toeplitz and Hankel operators and their properties, Brownian shift operators, C-symmetric operators, similarity problem)
Trace Formulae in Perturbation theory (Krein Trace formula, Koplienko trace formula, Koeplienko Neidhardt Trace formula)
