We are SOMA Bosque, a project born from the convergence of personal and professional journeys that decided to intertwine in order to respond to an urgent challenge: the need to reconnect body, mind, and nature in times of socio-emotional and environmental crisis.

SOMA Bosque was founded by Claudio Pérez and Bernardita Prieto, who—drawing from their fields of educational innovation, cultural management, and the artistic practice of movement—came together to create a method that unites dance, forest, and neuroscience to generate transformative experiences of well-being and learning. Joining them is Eloy Mansilla as scientific and technological advisor, contributing methodological rigor and an interdisciplinary vision for the design and validation of our trials.

On this path, we have been fortunate to count on strategic partners who have been fundamental. CENCOMEX has facilitated access to the iMediSync headset, with which we have been able to carry out neurophysiological measurements both indoors and outdoors, generating valuable evidence on the impacts of our practices on well-being and emotional regulation. Meanwhile, CRTIC Lab100+ has enabled us to integrate the MOCAP suit into our trials, opening an unprecedented field for the study of movement dynamics in contact improvisation practices and their relationship with states of consciousness and embodiment.

We see ourselves as a creative and scientific community advancing in the construction of a bridge between art, nature, and technology, convinced that within this integration lies one of the keys to human and collective well-being in this new Era of the Body.
