The partial high beam ensures that other road users are not dazzled. In addition, the turn and bend lighting also ensure optimal visibility, so that you can spot potential danger more quickly.
The MULTIVISION LED headlamps provide perfect light and visibility. In addition to the excellent quality of the light, the modern system is characterized above all by a large number of intelligent light functions. The central comfort element of this equipment is Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus. This allows the LEDs of the headlamps to be individually controlled, so that the range and shape of the light beam can always be adapted to the actual traffic situation. In this way it can be specifically ensured that further road users are not blinded. In addition, this allows the full range of the light beam to be utilized. A further advantage is that the MULTIVISION LED headlamps are dimmed accordingly with highly reflective road signs.
On provincial roads, you also benefit from the higher brightness of the low beam. The verge on the side of the car is lit brighter and wider than with conventional low beam, so you can orient yourself better and react earlier. When the system detects that you are driving through a place, it automatically switches on the city traffic-optimized city light. Thanks to the symmetrical distribution of the dipped beam and the dimmed turn-off lighting, sidewalks and blind entrances and exits are illuminated as well as possible. In addition, the turn lighting ensures that you have a better overview when you turn. If the system can rely on the data of the navigation system from the hard disk, a wide light beam is switched on on both sides before intersections and roundabouts. In addition, the light beam bends with the bend when you turn at a low speed into a tight bend.
While driving and in long bends, you are also supported by the active cornering lights when the high beam is activated. In doing so, the existing light distribution is shifted.
About Adaptive High Beam Assist (AHBA)
After the system is activated, you will enjoy excellent visibility thanks to the intelligent beam of the high beam. Whenever Adaptive High Beam Assist detects no vehicles ahead or oncoming traffic, the high beam is switched on. For excellent visibility of the road surface and faster recognition of dangerous situations. In addition, you no longer have to switch on the low beam yourself every time.
