In Groove Blox, the player is guided through a collection of puzzle levels where they are given blocks of random color which they need to place to make matches in the grid.  The matches can be any vertical or horizontal line to make space.  But to play music they need to match the current shape and color of the flashing block.  Then they can play through predetermined mixes called Grooves or build their own Mixes with over 729 possibilities per mix.
