Several intercity buses connect the UAM campus with nearby towns and central Madrid. The most direct route from the city center is bus 714 from Plaza de Castilla, which takes about 15 minutes. Other lines such as 827, 827A, and 828 link the university with towns like Alcobendas, San Sebastián de los Reyes, and Tres Cantos. Buses stop at various points across the campus, offering a flexible alternative to train travel.
The fastest and most convenient way to reach the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is by Cercanías. Take line C-4A or C-4B in the direction of Cantoblanco Universidad, Alcobendas/San Sebastián de los Reyes, or Colmenar Viejo. The campus has its own station, "Cantoblanco Universidad", just a short walk from the main buildings. Trains run approximately every 10–15 minutes from central stations like Atocha, Sol, Nuevos Ministerios, or Chamartín, with a travel time of around 20–25 minutes.
